Platinum FM has been awarded the FM contract with Vision Australia to support the not-for-profit organisation in its important work providing blindness and low vision services across the nation.

Vision Australia works in partnership with Australians who are blind or have low vision to help them live the life they choose. Vision Australia supports more than 35,000 people of all ages to get the support they need.

As a values-driven facilities management company, Platinum FM is proud to be working in collaboration with Vision Australia, to create value, efficiencies, and cost savings.

Vision Australia has 35 sites in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, as well as outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

Vision Australia’s Caroline Smith, Property Portfolio Manager, said it is an important partnership for Vision Australia, as Platinum FM will be responsible for looking after all our facilities requirements at our sites.

“The reason this is important, is to keep up our building compliance in order for our staff to confidently provide services to our Clients,” she said.

“Platinum FM will be responsible for managing all contractor paperwork, insurances, certificates etc. Platinum FM are people focussed and have the system and processes in place to manage the end-to-end work order, from logging the job to managing the contractor.

“Our sites will have the ability to see when contractors will be coming to site, and can see the steps of where the work order is up to. We are looking forward to working with Platinum FM for all our Facility’s needs.”
